Ebb and FlowAn experimental Jazz outfit featuring Saxophone, Drums, Double bass, Keys, and Electric Guitar. To capture the dynamic interplay between the band it was vital they could play together completely live with full visual contact while tightly controlling spill between instruments. Kinema AudioThis collaboration with Jonny Desai showcases electronic, orchestral and piano arrangements and was selected as track 1 on the album ‘Darkly Delicate’.
Our brief from BMG asked for:
‘ Sparse & delicate Scandi & Nordic noir tracks with emotive depth that should fit perfectly under modern drama.’
Superb performances from Cellist Liz Hanks and Violinist Clare Stanley really helped us reach the sound we were looking for.

Kinema AudioSometimes it’s great to create with no prior ideas and just a bunch a bunch of mics, pedals and kit etc and see where the mood takes you. This piece was conjured in studio 2 with long time collaborator ‘Lee Gretton’ whose drumming and Guitar energy is captured in a series of improvisations.

Kinema AudioWhen asked by one of our publishers to create several sideways pop tracks, we began playing with some drums we had created on analogue synths. The Stranger things series served as inspiration for us to use our Juno and Oberheim synths to create some retro pads and the vocal started to emerge. Incredible Local singer Tiger Cohen Towell was just right for the synth pop sound and captured the mood of the song brilliantly.
